Netherlands Commemorates WWII Liberation from Nazis
In the Hague, seat of the Dutch Government, there stands the WWII Memorial close to the reknown Peace Palace. Along with other West European states, on 7 May the Kingdom of the Netherlands commemorated the end of the war and the civilians, military and deported citizens killed during the conflict between 1940-1945.
