In the Hague, seat of the Dutch Government, there stands the WWII Memorial close to the reknown Peace Palace. Along with other West European states, on 7 May the
Kingdom of the Netherlands commemorates the end of the war and the civilians, military and deported citizens killed during the war 1940-1945.
